A storytelling kit for preschoolers focusing on learning through play.
Children love stories; hence the learning becomes fun when happening through telling stories. This project was focused on developing storytelling kit for preschoolers. Three kits were designed, each focusing on different learning.

The Process
The project went through different stages from research to interviews followed by market understanding. Inferences of these helped in coming up with initial concepts. Few of them were detailed, prototyped, tested and incorporated into final product.

Final Products
IN THE JUNGLE
A playful carpet with a set of 10 jungle animal characters. Using the set, unlimited stories can be narrated. An unstructured play where children can play individually or in a group. Encourages sharing & cooperative play by collaborating with other children.
THE STORYTELLER
Storyteller is three set of sequencing cards each having a theme. Using these cards, child has to first sort cards theme wise and then needs to arrange them in a sequencing order. Card sorting will help in picture recognition and story narration helps in speech development of child.
CUBE TALES
A set of four cubes, each having a theme i.e. character, place, transport and edibles. To play, the dice needs to rolled and linking the pictures on the face up sides of each cube, child creates a story. Cube tales has endless opportunity for new stories. Encourages children to think loud and speak which helps in creative thinking.
